The materials can vary from austenitic stainless steels, duplex steels, high alloy materials and other metallic materials. The Stainless Steel Condenser Tube are lightweight, strong and temperature resistance. The condenser applications involve heating and cooling of the tubes. In water related applications, hydrogen induced cracking or HIC is prone. The materials of the Stainless Steel Shell & Tube Heat Exchanger and condenser have to have high HIC resistance as well.
