EN 10025 Grade S185 Pipe has wall thickness ranging from 0.3mm to 80mm. The length of the pipes range from 1m to 12m with single random, double random and custom cut to length sizes available. The 1.0035 s185 Tubing can be coated or galvanized to improve the corrosion resistance. These are carbon steel pipes and have carbon, manganese, phosphorus, silicon and sulfur in the composition. The pipes are produced through hot rolling or cold rolling. The material has good strength. The minimum yield strength varies from 310 MPa to 540 MPa and the minimum tensile strength varies from 290 MPa to 510 MPa. The S185 Carbon Steel Tube has an added geometric strength because of the shape.

The S185 EN 10025 pipe can be used in the oil and gas, petroleum, domestic applications and in the industrial applications such as the transportation. The material has a low carbon content and therefore can be welded without the need for filler materials. It also does not require post weld heat treatment or preheating prior to welding. The EN 10025 Grade S185 Pipe can be used as a replacement to ferritic stainless steel grades due to the improved corrosion resistance compared to the ferritic grades.
