SAE 52100 bearing steel tube is used in bearing applications where the friction is high. Therefore, high carbon materials are mostly used. The material composition includes carbon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, silicon, nitrogen, chromium, copper and sometimes molybdenum. There are 4 different standards and grades of which the 52100 grade is the best. The Bearing Steel Tube has up to 1.05% carbon and 0.1% molybdenum in the content. These pipes have up to 875 Rockwell C hardness. The density of the materials range up to 7.81 grams per centimeter cube. The material also has high melting point up to 1424 degrees Celsius.

The Bearing Seamless Steel Tube is made up of cold drawing or hot rolling procedures. These pipes have to be seamless and dimensionally accurate because they experience high friction and inaccuracies in the dimensions can cause added wearing off of the pipes and tubes. The outer diameter of the pipes range from 22mm to 70mm and the wall thicknesses range from 3mm to 8mm. The Bearing Steel Round Tube can have smooth end, plain square cut end or beveled end types. The surface of the pipes are oiled during supply to avoid any damage by friction to the pipes and tubes prior to installation. The High-carbon Bearing Steel Tube is used in applications where bearings are used.
